In Honour of Late Sudha Narayanan – Founding Member, NAMAM
Late Mrs. Sudha Narayanan, a founding member of NAMAM since its inception in 2010, was
a pillar of the organization’s cultural vision. Her dedication, leadership, and passion were
instrumental in organizing, connecting, and executing NAMAM’s cultural festivals until her
passing in 2017.
As NAMAM celebrates its 15th anniversary, this year’s Cultural Festival is respectfully
dedicated to the memory of Mrs. Sudha Narayanan—honoring her invaluable contributions,
commitment, and enduring legacy. This program stands as a tribute to her excellence,
devotion, and lasting impact on NAMAM’s journey.
A passionate advocate for Indian classical arts and spiritual enrichment, Mrs. Narayanan
played a vital role in nurturing young artists through arangetrams and community programs,
fostering the next generation of dancers and musicians with grace and encouragement. Her
efforts helped shape NAMAM into a vibrant platform for artistic expression that
harmoniously blends culture, tradition, and service.
Deeply involved in cultural and spiritual circles, she was equally devoted to fostering
community spirit through festivals such as Vishu and various arts initiatives. Her life
reflected a rare harmony of tradition, service, and heartfelt engagement—qualities that
continue to inspire everyone associated with NAMAM.
Mrs. Sudha Narayanan is survived by her husband, Mr. Prem Narayanan, and their two
children, Roh Narayan and Sneha Narayan. She will always be remembered as a connector,
mentor, and guiding light who embodied the true spirit of NAMAM.
In recognition of her enduring influence and selfless service, all future NAMAM Cultural
Festivals will be held in her loving memory—celebrating the legacy of a remarkable woman
whose spirit continues to illuminate NAMAM’s path.
